ReplyDeleteListened to your podcast, congratulations on your effort. Comments solicited, food for thought, IMNSHO (in my not so humble opinion,lol).
Yes, we all have a right to believe what we want. We do not have a right to expect said beliefs are factual.
You say we are obligated to be "responsible citizens." I wholeheartedly agree. And so, must point out while "believing" and "expressing one's beliefs" are our right, ACTION, actively defending the constitutional system is our DUTY.
And unless we rise to that duty of action, well, all else is rhetoric.
Yes, this world has gone mad. And too many Americans sit and opine and treat what we can only describe as a mortal assault on our sovereign nation as a spectator sport.
Armchair quarterbacking with our opinions as our nation dies is as feel good but ineffective to victory on the field as any football game we watch.
It FOOLS us into believe we are doing something, have some effect. It is a false promise.
Food for thought. I contend that it is simply not enough to opine, grouse, point out the wrongs in full expectation that someone else or even gov't will rectify the status quo.
Take global warming. It is simply not sufficient to notice this hoax, satire it, yada yada.
Global warming has come to NJ EVEN BEFORE cap and trade has been passed in Congress! The pilot program already here and funded by the fat man in Trenton with OUR tax dollars.
Talking about it won't stop it. Talking about it actually facillitates Trenton's actions because as long as they have us talking and not acting, they are free to do whatever they want.
Am sorry this is long but the bottom line is I would urge you to REAL action and use your show to spread that word, that our citizens' DUTY is not to talk but to stand shoulder to shoulder with a LOUD, resounding and NON-NEGOTIABLE "NO!"
We have the the duty. We have the authority. We have the power. But talking doesn't doing. ACTION by committed Americans to save their nation for themselves and their progeny. THAT is the only way.
